Morning with Married & Bright + Master Bedroom Peek

Sunday mornings are my absolute favorite. & I am loving them even more in the new house! I wanted our bedroom to be a very serene, peaceful place. Light decor, sunshine in the morning, a feeling of "ease" when we wake up. This is our first time having a king size bed & let me tell you it is super different to have all this room! ;) Calley tends to take up a lot of the bed, any dog moms understand this? It has been super nice & comfortable. Our bed side tables, dresser, & hutch were all vintage finds from a sale (my mom found them being sold locally, she purchased them for my college apartment). We have painted/sanded, put new knobs on, etc, maybe 2-3 times to all 3 of these pieces. This time we landed on a cream/ivory paint color with crystal knobs & I am loving it. I love repurposing old things! It makes it that much more meaningful.

I think you guys know that I adore gold & white by now... went a little crazy with these colors. For the master, I fell in love with these white shag rugs from TJ Maxx, & these white shag pillows from Target. I am all about bargain shopping without the fuss. We get a lot of questions on the chandelier.... funny thing is- we got it from Menards! It was one of the first things we bought for the new home. Literally everything was being torn apart & Jordan & I bought this chandelier as sort of an we-are-excited-to-remodel gift for the both of us. Jordan has been a rockstar in all of this, & he doesn't mind my semi-feminine decor. Our master attaches to a master bath which I will share with you guys another time! I have linked all of the bedroom details I have pictured below.

This shoot was a little different than my typical "outfit" posts, but I absolutely fell in love with Married & Bright about a year ago, & I just had to share with you guys this company! No other way to share than to blog & to photograph! When Annika & I first started talking about a collaboration, I got so excited- mostly because I just love all of her designs, & I know you guys will too. Her sets are absolutely stunningly beautiful. Comfortable, dainty, exquisite, custom (in so many ways), sexy, soft, sheer, ethereal, angelic.... yes, all of these things. What I love about these sets is they not only can serve as an "intimate" but also as an "everyday wear." They are honestly so comfy, I am so excited to wear this mint bralette under sheer shirts &/or just peeking out of sheer v-necks/dresses, etc. These bralettes literally serve as an "extra" to your outfit! I think that bralettes look so much better underneath a tank top than your typical white bra strap. They just add that extra bit of femininity & flair.

This mint "Earn Your Stripes" set is to die & I can't rave about it enough (see it in pink {here}) but I really had a hard time sifting through these designs because I have so many favorites. These would also make the most perfect gift for a bride (see this "White Unicorn Set"-for your next shower/bachelorette gift?), girl pal, wife, friend, sister, boudoir shoot...etc. Annika hand makes these sets with such precision & care, it really shows in her designs! Not to mention the packaging that comes with is so adorably set up. Thank you Married & Bright for making my lingerie dreams come true! Now for my next set. This "All That Glitters Set," or this "Pink Unicorn Set"? You guys have to check out her website too. Website goals. Just makes me want to get everything & anything! Hope ya'll have fun looking through these designs. You won't be disappointed. Xx PS: Free surprise bralette when you spend $100 or more! Use code "surprise me" in the notes at checkout.

I can actually attest to the fact that the food was delicious because, unlike other hosts who I hear never get to eat a bite, there was a staff member by my side every so often kindly reminding me to eat! At wedding venues NYC we received the best possible service.
