Printed T, Cut Offs & Current Inspirations

Cut off's & relaxed t-shirts are my jam in the summer time. I love the mom short trend, I know- I have heard a lot of debate regarding the mom shorts, but I just think high-waisted is so cute & flattering for a lot of body types! I think a lot of women are afraid to try it again but you just need to find the right pair of denim, & I promise you- you will find them to be comfortable, sexy, & super in for summertime! Vintage Levi's are where it is at!

This shirt from Faith & Finn kinda gave me all the feels this week. First of all, I love the T itself, it is SO comfortable (I actually slept in it the first night I got it), cozy, & lightweight. Plus the color of it literally goes with everything, & the message pretty much just speaks to me. Faith & Finn is another adorable MN boutique (represent!), that I am so happy I have had the opportunity to work with. I first ran into Erin through IG, we got to talking, & I started browsing her website to learn more about the brand & to see what Faith & Finn was all about. Erin personally designs & hand-makes these t-shirts in honor of her son "Finn" the fighter, who had a very rough go in the beginning stages of his life. She explains in her about page: "I personally design and hand-make all of my tees based on messages that I would like to share with the world. They may be funny, encouraging or Biblical, but they will always come from a place of faith and positivity, aiming to inspire and spread love."

I have needed some strength & a lot of faith this week to see the positives. Through everything that has happened in Orlando, all of the tragedy that has struck in our world once again in such a short amount of time, it leaves me hanging in the balance a bit. I often get perplexed by these things that happen, leaving me stunned & with a thought process limited to: "How could our world be so cruel & unkind? How could we be filled with so much hate?" I truly believe everyone is their own person, that everyone has their own way of believing, thinking, loving, & living. It just hurts my heart to see these things happen to such good people. It takes a strong pull from inner strength & faith during these times to stay positive & to keep finding the kindness, compassion, & happiness in the world & in the people who live in it. I wanted to attach a few current inspirations that I pull up almost weekly to keep me on the grind, to keep reminding me that each day is a gift, that each second counts, & to keep frequently telling my loved ones how much they mean to me. :) So here is to you! You guys mean a lot to me. & I hope you all have an amazing weekend. Xx
