Favorite Floral Midi

Loves! So sorry for the temporary hiatus for a second. I took a much needed mini vacation. Although a few shifts were mixed in there at the hospital, I was just so crazy busy with this, that, & the other thing; I had to take some me time to sort a few things out. But, I am back with a vengeance. & I have so many fun things (favorite beauty products, summer staples, styled shoots, n-sale must haves, home styling, life happenings, & so much more)! coming up this month I can't wait to share with you all! + I still have the next week off (perks of taking vacation when I work 12 hour shifts)- which means loads more time for shoots & blog posts! Its bout to be fun.

Hope everyone had a great kick off to their July! This past weekend was so amazing. I always have such a blast on the 4th of July, & I knew this holiday was going to be exceptionally fun because it was on a Monday- (I know ugh Mondays), but everyone had a longer weekend than normal so I feel as though everyone was in such a good mood! I went from working three 12 hour night shifts straight to driving back to my hometown to spend time with friends, attend my good friend Mindie's (Makeup by Mindie ;))- wedding (which was a fairytale dream), attend a killer (& I mean unreal) pool party to ring in the 4th, all to end the weekend stopping by my parents new home in the city, & to drive back up to the lake up north to spend time with Jordan's family on the boat. Talk about one heck of a week! I am a little exhausted to say the least, but in the best way possible!

I am so excited to share with you guys my collaboration with eShakti, because I just think the concept of their company is so unique & perfect for the ladies who are trying to achieve a specific "look" but can't find it in store. If you head over to their website, & click on the "How it Works" tab, you can see that their process is super one-of-a-kind. You literally get to pick your favorite design of a top, bottom, or dress (cut, print, length, etc); tell them your measurements, & then finish it off by customizing the style to suit your needs. Want a scoop neck instead of a v? Off the shoulder? strapless? etc. You can create pretty much any look you want! It is so much fun & super easy, except for the fact that I wanted to make like a ton of a designs at once!

I fell in love with this off the shoulder look because, well; I am in love with all off the shoulder looks currently, I think they are so chic & feminine; & I also think they can look good on just about anyone. I loved this bright print & ruffled hem, I thought the combination would be great for outdoor events this summer. I chose a midi cut because I don't have a lot of midi dresses and I thought it would be fun to try something different! I absolutely adore this dress & can't wait to wear it just about anywhere all month long! For the quality & the customization, their products are super reasonably priced. You guys need to check out their website {here!}. I have also linked my specific dress & other details (you can customize it to suit your needs) below.

In true Kellie fashion, we had an amazing shoot in the middle of a field (very wet field may I add)- near Lester Park. We had a blast per usual, & of course Kellie knew all the hot spots to hit for sun. She is seriously amazing you guys! Anyone who is looking for a local MN photographer needs to grab her & hold her tight! I am so glad I snagged her up for shoots! I always link to her website, & I am going to again, directly below.
