Christmas Wishlist & Holiday Bar Cart Styling

Lovelies! Hello! We are now in full holiday swing, & the countdown is on until Christmas & New Years! I can't wait until next week when my Christmas vacation begins, & I can start spending tons of QT with family & friends. Christmas & NYE bring about a ton of good food, drinks, + genuine laughter & fun- so I thought- what better way to kick off party season then to do a little holiday bar cart styling? Although this is actually fairly tame for what I wanted my bar cart to look like this holiday season, I already kind of liked the set up that I had from when I originally put together the bar cart, so I just added/switched out a few items to give it that extra "holiday glow."

A few bar cart tips; for holiday styling & for styling in general:

1. Gold & Silver Accessories:
Of course I had to get a gold bar cart, because I knew it would work year round; but it especially works great for the holiday season! Gold & silver anything over the holidays adds that extra pop of glam to any holiday decor. I added all silver, gold, & copper ornament bulbs to our Christmas tree this year (see my IG for a glimpse of our tree-@emilybfahlsing), & I think it turned out really pretty!

2. Festive Floral Arrangements & Greenery
I went a little crazy on the floral arrangement this year, & I think adding one to the bar cart made a huge difference! I tried to stay in the same color palette as the other items that were arranged on the cart, so I opted for blush poinsettia flowers with copper & white branches. Plus I added a small Christmas tree to the other side to add a small amount of greenery so that we had a few different colors to work with. Any kind of floral arrangement can add good depth to your cart!

3. Copper Anything

I love Moscow Mule glasses in general, but I especially love them during the holiday season. Copper can be so festive in the form of glasses, tinsel, decor, wrapping paper, etc! I found this recipe for "Holiday Moscow Mules" on PopSugar & they look TO DIE. See photo below & check out the recipe {here}.

4. Glitzed out Glassware
Glitter anything can amp up any decor & or party. Glitzed out glassware on the bar cart can be a huge statement piece! I only added one flute right now because I didn't want to go too crazy with the glitzing-plus I like the look of a few different glass pieces on the cart & I didn't want it to get too overwhelming.

5. Winter Candles
Candles on a bar cart, especially in a form that fit the season can be a super elegant additive. Especially at night when you light them up! I have been going crazy with holiday candles- I can't get enough of Bath & Body Works selections this season. My two favorites right now are "Champagne Toast," & their "Winter" scent. The 3 wick candles are amazing & last for a long time!

Hope this helped give you guys some ideas for fun bar cart styling! I think that bar carts can add so much to a space, they make for a great way to showcase your fun glassware & bar tools for when you are entertaining guests! Generally you can find them for a fairly good price too. I got ours from Wayfair for under $200! I've linked some in the scrollbar directly below!

I also attached some of the items on my "Christmas Gift Wishlist" this year. Things that I have been lusting over & also things that I have been wanting to give to others! See below. Hope everyone in MN is attempting to stay warm tonight! It is a cold one. Thanks for reading loves. Xx

I've seen a couple of other events at other places, but this was my first time in here. It was amazing! Great venues in Chicago, it's smaller than those bigger places but it is still a fair sized venue. Food was great and I think it's recently renovated - it didn't seem old or anything.
